Monday, July 8th, 2013 | Posted by | no responses

C’est bien! Come the Bastille Day celebration the word is “Oo-la-la!” for the musicians and performers at Occidental Center for the Arts. On Saturday, July 13, at 8 p.m. two French music trios will celebrate the French Independence Day holiday. Un Deux Trois  blends accordian (Robert Lunceford), guitar/voice (Lisa Iskin), and electric bass (Jan Martinelli) for lively  traditional, contemporary and original French compositions. La Guinguette, featuring Christiane Lelaure (vocalist),Al Hass (guitar) and Robert Lunceford (accordion) will transport you with classic French and Italian street café music of 1900-1960’s. Admission is $15 and there will be refreshments with a French accent for sale. The center is at 3850 Doris Murphy Court in Occidental. Go to www.occidentalcenterforthearts.comfor more information and to purchase advance tickets. Call 874-9392 to make reservations.
