Polenta feed for St. Teresa
The Italian families of Bodega are directing the preparation of the all important beef stew that will be a star in the fund raising polenta dinner Saturday, Feb. 9. From 5:30 to 8 p.m. the people of St. Teresa of Avila Guild will be dishing up the famous savory stew with polenta and cheese with fixings at McCaughey Hall (the old fire house). They are raising money to maintain the oldest church in Sonoma County, made famous by Ansel Adams when it became the subject of his photographic eye. The dinners are $15, $7 for young children.
