Learn about your local beavers

Bodega Land Trust is sponsoring a talk at Occidental Arts and Ecology Center about “partnering” with beavers in land conservation. The much maligned tree cutting, dam building critter has an important role to play in nature. Beaver expert Kate Lundquist will give the talk in the OAEC community dining room on Sunday, Feb. 24 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults, free to kids. OAEC is at 15290Coleman Valley Rd. in Occidental.
