Infidels Abroad – in Sonoma County
Infidels Abroad – in Sonoma County
Imagine a Sonoma County where the Russian and Spanish empires never left their colonies and gaze at each other over the Russian River. Now imagine that two such irreverent men as Mark Twain and John Singer Sargent visit. That’s the alternative history in “Infidels Abroad”, the book that author Patrick Fanning will launch on Friday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. at Occidental Center for the Arts.
Patrick, an accomplished painter has illustrated his alternative history with his watercolors. He will read from his book and be available for book signing. Refreshments will be served, and wine and beer will be available for purchase. Admission is free.
The center is at 3850 Doris Murphy Court in Occidental, and is wheelchair accessible.
