Stewards to hold trainings

Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods are joining Bureau of Land Management in a seabird monitoring program and are looking for volunteers. There is a free two-part training program for volunteers. The first part is Thursday Jan. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon and the second part is Thursday Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. 3 p.m. toThe organization is also going to hold a training for those who want to volunteer in the parks on Saturday Jan. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon.
