Bodega Bay Community Association and the Surfriders Foundation is holding a special event about fisheries and whale songs at the Bodega Bay Community Center Friday (11/9). There is a reception from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and at 8 p.m. Michael Stocker will give a talk. It is free. The center is at the corner of Highway1 and Bay Hill Rd.
Analy High School Drama opens “Arsenic and Old Lace” at 7 p.m. on Friday (11/9) at the Analy High School Auditorium in Sebastopol. It plays at 7 p.m. Saturday (11/10) and at 2 p.m. on Sunday (11/11). Tickets are $10 in advance at brownpapertickets.com or $15 at the door.
Bodega Land Trust holds its annual dinner and silent auction Satrday (11/10) at 5:30 p.m. It’s at McCaughey Hall in Bodega (the old fire house). Admission is $20 or $15 if you bring a dish to share.

Peace and Justice Center is holding its annual Awards Ceremony at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center Sunday (11/11). The event will begin at 5 p.m., with music, a silent auction, a beer and wine bar, and hors d’oeuvres. The award ceremony will run from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., followed by dancing to live music.
