Tuesday (11/13) is the annual Thanksgiving potluck at the Sebastopol Senior Center. The center provides the turkey and everyone brings a side to share. It’s free at 1:30 p.m. The center is at 167 N. High St. in Sebastopol. Call 829-2440 for more information.


Wednesday (11/14) it’s Ignite Sebastopol. The brainchild of O’Reilly Media presenters have five minutes and can show up to 20 slides to share a passion. It happens at Hopmonk’s Beer Garden and it’s free but since space is limited you have to register on line. Go to igniteshow.com/Sebastopol. Doors open at 6 when there is a “maker” contest prior to the show. Hopmonk is at 230 Petaluma Ave.


On Thursday at 9 a.m. Sebastopol Senior Center takes off for a field trip to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. They leave from Mt. Olive Lutheran Church on Murphy Ave. The cost is $60. Call 829-2440 to reserve a space.


“Arsenic and Old Lace” is on stage at Analy High School Auditorium at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday (11/15. 11/6. And 11/17). Advance tickets are $10 at brownpapertickets.com and $15 at the door. The proceeds send the drama students to Ashland Shakespeare Festival in Oregon. The High School is on High School Rd. in Sebastopol.


Science Buzz Café brings a Rudolph Steiner documentary film to Sebastopol Masonic Center Friday (11/16) and a talk about his work from 6 to 10 p.m. Admiission is $10 for this unique film. The Masonic Center is at 373 N. Main St.


Redwood Chorale will hold a concert called “American Rainbow” at Occidental Center for the Arts on Friday (11/16) at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 at brownpapertickets.com. Call 874-3770 for more information. The center is at 3850 Doris Murphy Court in Occidental.


Take a walk with the Y in the Laguna outside of Sebastopol. Walkers will gather Saturday (11/17) behind the Chevron Station to explore a new trail in a regional park at 10 a.m. to walk three miles together with a guide.


Redwood Arts Council brings the music of the Andes to Occidental Center for the Arts when Chasinakuy plays Saturday (11/17) at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com online. This group packs them in so get advanced tickets to be sure of a seat. The center is at 3850 Doris Murphy Court. Go to redwoodarts.org for more information.


A reception for the artists at Quicksilver Mine Co. gallery in Forestville happens Saturday (11/17) from 4 to 6 p.m. Called “The Last Hurrah” it is the final exhibition before the gallery closes and the owner retires. It will run through Dec. 31. A wide number of artists who have shown at Quicksilver through the years are in the show and will be on hand to bid farewell. The gallery is at 6671 Front St. and the reception is free.


“Cabaret is my Life” hits the stage in a caberet sertting at Occidental Center for the Arts as Andrea Van Dyke, her family and friends perform the songs that made up her life through the decades. Great musicians and experienced entertainers provide skits and music. It starts at 4 p.m. and the $15 admission includes a free glass of champagne.
