Grills galore on Highway 116

Grills with barbecue, grills on old classic cars – that’s what’s on the menu with the seven wineries that make up Taste Route 116 on Saturday , Aug. 25.

The day features collections of classic cars at each winery and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the wineries will be cooking up great food to go with their wine tastings. Here’s the menu for the lucky ticketholders: Dutton Estate – Tri Tip; Martin Ray – House Made Smoked Andouille Chicken Sausage, House Made Authentic Louisiana Hot Links, House Made Smoked Chicken Apple Sausage with choices of 4 mustards, sauerkraut and red onion jam; Balletto – Chicken and Mushroom Skewers; RRV – Corks wood-fired pulled pork pizza; Graton Ridge – Grilled Sausages & Squash served with chili beans; Taft Street – Grilled Asian Chicken patties in lettuce cups with dipping sauce;Hook & Ladder, Sebastopol location – decadent dessert.  Tickets are $40, $35 for wine club members.
