Poetry, Politics and Passion coming to OCA

Occidental Center for the Arts will launch a new book called “Poetry, Politics and Passion” by author and poet Jennie Orvino on Sunday, July 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. It will be launched not just with readings but with music by Karen Zimmerman, Jeanette Isenburg and Bonnie Brooks. The event is free although donations are greatly appreciated. Refreshments will be served, and beverages sold. OCA is at 3850 Doris Murphy Court in Occidental. Call 874-9392 for more information.
