In Store: Casino theater reopens
Five years ago when the Casino was leased by Greg and Elizabeth Schimpf they needed storage space and closed the theater in the back of the local watering hole/restaurant. The Schimpfs have moved to Oregon and Evelyn Casini has taken management back, and reopened the theater.
“I’ve always liked live theater,” said Casini. “So of course I welcomed the American Dream Players back.
They are starting with a biting romantic comedy “Live Bites”. It plays on Fridays and Saturdays through June 24. The players originally created the 30 seat theater from a store room. It has red plush seats, lighting and sound systems and is the most intimate theater in Sonoma County. Expect a lot more productions in Bodega.
