On Monday and Tuesday (6/18 and 6/19) Anni Redding will hold a two day camp out and natural dye workshop at Bodega Pastures in Bodega. Participants can bring their own fibers or Pastures yarn and wool will be available for sale. Dye plants will be gathered, processed and used. There will be a potluck supper Monday evening (bring musical instruments if you have them). You must bring your own camping equipment. Limited to 12 people. On Tuesday (6/19) there will be a sing-along with Susana Crofton at the Sebastopol Senior Center at 2 p.m. It is free. The center is at 267 N. High St. in Sebastopol. 829-2440.
On Thursday (6/21) at 7 p.m. Quicksilver Mine Co. gallery in Forestville will hold a special Solstice gathering. Poems and stories about The Solstice Within will be read by six local authors. Sonoma County Poet Laureate Bill Vartnaw will be the host. Free, but contributions are gratefully accepted. The gallery is at 6671 Front St. www.quicksilvermineco.com for more information.
“Love Bites” holds its last performances Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6/22,23,24). It’s the last chance to catch the romantic comedy about a very bad date. On Friday and Saturday the performances are at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday there are two afternoon performances at 2 and at 4 p.m. Call 538-7543 or 478-1994 to make reservations. Tickets are $15 and seating is limited.
At 8 p.m. Saturday (6/23) Blue Moon puts in an appearance (doesn’t happen often!) at Occidental Center for the Arts. The 10 piece band and female vocalist play Motown, Rock n’ Roll, Rhythm and Blues, and 70′s Disco. Tickets are $15 at brownpapertickets.com. Come and rock the town!
