Daniel Ellsberg of Pentagon Papers fame will come to Sebastopol on Friday, with a reception at 6:30 p.m. and a 7:30 p.m. screening of Academy Award nominated documentary, “The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers.” At 9 p.m., Ellsberg will answer questions, all at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center, 390 Morris St. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at seb.org.

Sere Prince Halverson launches her book “The Underside of Joy” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, at Occidental Center for the Arts, 4008 Bohemian Highway, Occidental. The book, partly inspired by Occidental, ignited an international bidding war for publication rights. The event is free, but a portion of all book sales will be donated to Center.
