Return of ‘The Birds’

Bodega Bay may be making a movie comeback thanks to the BBC2, according to the website Movie Line.

The British company will be making a television film called “The Girl” about the tempestuous relationship between director Alfred Hitchcock and actress Tippi Hedren when they filmed “The Birds” at Bodega and Bodega Bay. Apparently things got very tense and there was some violent bird throwing.

Ironically, while Hitchcock has passed on to the great movie set in the sky, Hedren has become an animal activist, but then there is no mention who threw the birds and whether they were alive or stuffed.

In the new movie, Sienna Miller plays Hedren, and Toby Jones plays the demanding director.
