Earth Day Work Day at Bohemia Ranch
Landpaths, a non-profit organization, is inviting people to lend a hand stewarding Bohemia Ranch for Earth Day on April 23 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To register go to www.landpaths.org or call 544-7284.
The property (just north of Occidental on Dutch Bill Creek) offers vistas of the Dutch Bill Creek watershed, with serpentine outcrops, a diversity of wildflowers, and a 25 foot waterfall in a fern-lined grotto that has been popular with locals for years. The work group will maintain old ranch roads, remove invasive plants, repair cabins and learn about the landscape. Participants are welcome to volunteer at multiple stewardship days.
The outings are taking place in cooperation with the current landowner, Sonoma County Regional Parks, the Sonoma County Ag Preservation & Open Space District, Sonoma Land Trust and other partners. These partners are actively exploring the feasibility of acquiring Bohemia Ranch for a local park.

Sounds great!
How do I sign up? Or do I just show up? Directions? Bring anything? More info?
Thanks!
