There will be a beach and river clean-up April 16 and 17 at Jenner to honor Earth Day, starting at 8:30 a.m. Sponsored by PG&E, North Bay Corporation, Whole Foods, Fresh Choice, Food for Humans, California State Parks Foundation, and Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods, this is the 14th annual clean-up. Refreshments will be provided. Participants are asked to wear sturdy shoes, bring gloves, warm clothes and a water bottle, and meet at the Jenner Visitors Center on Highway 1. Paddlers are asked to join the clean-up to help haul trash off North Jenner Beach and Penny Island. Paddlers need to register beforehand by contacting Suki-watertreks@yahoo.com. More information is available at 869-9177.
