Flea Market Fundraiser
This coming Saturday and Sunday, September 4th & 5th, the Bodega Bay Grange is holding a Community Flea Market from 10:00am-4:00pm both days.
Grange member, Joan Scoggins, says that just about anything can be sold at a flea market: used or new items, crafts, art, etc.
For the buyers, they may just come upon one of those surprise “finds” that shows up on Antiques Roadshow!
Table rentals go for $10 a day per table and there are still some available. Call Joan at 875-3957 or 478-6107 to reserve a table.
Proceeds will help with the upkeep of the Grange Hall, as well as go into the Scholarship fund which the non-profit community group awards annually to local students.
Addtional fundraising is being done for the high school scholarship fund by way of raffle tickets.
Locals have received these in the mail, but they will also be available to the general public at the Flea Market. The cost is $10 for a strip of 10 tickets.
Winners will be announced at the Grange meeting on October 7th and need not be present to win. All Grange meetings are open to the public.
36 local businesses have donated the raffle prizes. They include gift certificates, dinners or lunches for two, kayak rental, bike rental, a round of golf for two, and much more.
“The Flea Market will be a good chance for people to just get together and socialize too,” Joan said.
