“The Birds” return – not to Capistrano but to Bodega Bay!

Technically, it is Tippi Hedren who is returning to The Tides Wharf on the Labor Day weekend, but who can mention her and not think of “The Birds”?!

By popular demand, the actress who starred in Alfred Hitchcock’s scary bird story will be back signing autographs on Saturday, September 4^th from 10:00am – 5:00pm and Sunday, September 5^th from 11:00am-5:00pm.

Hedren appeared at The Tides Wharf on the 4^th of July weekend this year to meet fans and sign autographs.

She will be doing this again with autographing fees going to the support of the non-profit Shambala Preserve she started years ago to save abused and abandoned big cats, both exotic and native.

In March 2010, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Humane Society of the United States for her 40 years of dedication to the protection of animals.
