Firehouse Continues to Rise

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 | Posted by | 4 responses

Time for another building update on the Bodega Volunteer Fire Department’s new firehouse.

Since the rains finally stopped in May, much progress has been made and the metal framework is in place.

The roof’s not on yet, but some windows are already in.

The equipment and materials stretch around behind the post office, even up to the edge of the concrete barbeque pit near McCaughey’s Hall.

With a chicken and tri-tip barbeque coming up on Sunday, August 15 for the Bodega Big Event, it’s certain though that that area will be clear for the “firefighter chefs.”

Not sure what you mean, Nina. I just took the photos with my inexpensive little camera and put them in untouched!

  2. Id have to concurr that those photos are honest photos, take a ride though bodega and you will see what this article is talking about.
