Fish Fest Golf Special
For several years now, the Bodega Harbour Homeowners Association has put on a golf tournament with proceeds going to the Bodega Bay Fisherman’s Festival.
This year is no exception. The Links at Bodega Harbour are having a Fish Fest Golf Special for three days: Friday, April 16 through Sunday, April 18.
For every player on those three days who takes advantage of the Special, there will be a complimentary gate pass (value $10) to be used on either of the two days of the Festival; Saturday the 17th or Sunday the 18th.
The cost is $60 per person which includes green fees, golf cart, and the gate pass.
The Festival is Bodega Bay’s one big annual fundraiser that helps support several local non-profit groups.
A gate pass or a purchased ticket buys a lot of entertainment at no extra charge.
Free parking, live music, a Parade of Pets, the Wooden Boat race, exhibit booths, Sunday’s Boat Parade and Blessing of the Fleet – all of this and more.
And then there’s the opportunity to just sit on a hay bale or a large rock at the edge of the Bay and take in the natural beauty.
With a bit more of the “green,” (cash, that is), there is also the prospect of shopping at the many crafts booths, purchasing some official 2010 Fish Fest sweatshirts and tee-shirts, wine tasting, barbequed oysters, beer and soft drinks, and the very popular fish and chips meal.
